The Canadian Music Hall of Fame Welcomes New Inductees: Andy Kim, Bobby Curtola, Chilliwack and Cowboy Junkies


TORONTO (CelebrityAccess) – The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) has today (Sept. 18) declared the expansion of four incredible Canadian specialists – Andy Kim, Bobby Curtola (after death), Chilliwack and Cowboy Junkies – to The Canadian Music Hall of Fame.

Built up in 1978, The Canadian Music Hall of Fame perceives Canadian specialists who have made remarkable commitments to highlighting Canadian music at home and additionally on the universal stage.

The most up to date inductees will join the positions of Canadian music symbols including Anne Murray, Joni Mitchell, k.d. lang, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Oscar Peterson, RUSH, The Guess Who, The Tragically Hip, Shania Twain and that's only the tip of the iceberg.

The MusiCounts Inspired Minds Ambassador Award (MIMAA), exhibited by the Canadian Scholarship Trust Foundation will likewise be given out during the Canadian Music Hall of Fame Ceremony. The honor perceives a person who has extraordinarily affected instruction and the philanthropy through the span of its history. The MIMAA beneficiary will be declared in the coming weeks.

The Canadian Music Hall of Fame Ceremony will happen Sunday, October 27 at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Center in Calgary, AB.
